Roman Catholic Church located in Phirangipuram nearby Infant Jesus cathedral. this Carmel Matha Church is located on a hill top. to reach the church there are steps exactly 1001 steps. The legend says that priest Dickman built this church. in 1922 these steps 1001 were constructed
