Teachers an administration who refuse to acknowledge what emotional impact they have had on a child SHOULD not be around children. Basis you are running a school with children, not a corporation with adults. Oh wait, that is your main goal. I was so blind by their amazing curriculum and forgot what these schools are actually about. Biggest mistake of my life.

An excellent school with teachers that are dedicated to improve children's learning capacity. Love the extracurricular activities as well!

I didn’t have a good experience with registration. First, I was informed that my daughter was accepted. At that time, she had also been accepted at another school. Since I believed Basis was the better option, I cancelled the other application. Then, my daughter went in for a screening for early k. I was told that this was to check if she was ready. Unfortunately, I got an email a week later informing me that they didn’t believe she was ready. I called them to get more information since I did believe she was ready. The lady i spoke to was not very helpful. She told me that she didn’t have any specific information in front of her but agreed to email me. I agreed to that. I never received anything back. My daughter was so excited about going to school that when I told her, she was heartbroken. Also, I wasn’t able to get her into the other school because the spot had been taken. Thankfully, I found a great Montessori school, which I m sure she is gonna love. Ive heard other issues from parents that were thinking about sending their children here. Therefore, i will also be withdrawing my sons application.

It use to be a great school. Great curriculum that is challenging. However, they are constantly changing principals and workers. My son was bullied punched and choked inside classrooms without the teachers even knowing. I had many emails and conversations with teacherss and the head of the school. Their go to was always an excuse to why they didn't see or weren't looking and my favorite excuse was boys will be boys attitude. Don't put your kids in here for the curriculum it's not worth it. They have created an environment were bullies are excused as long as they say they were just playing. They do not teach personal boundaries or respect. Look elsewhere. But if your only requirement for a good school is an advanced curriculum and not an environment were your child can flourish than by all means go here you and your children will like it.

We have two children in the school, and have been in many schools in multiple states, by far this is the best school. The teachers and admin staff and wonderful and foster an environment where kids can learn in a safe and inclusive environment. Curriculum aside, the teachers at BASIS PHOENIX CENTRAL, have inculcated in my children a keen sense inquisitiveness.
