Today was my first visit to this office. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Dr. Lappin gave the most thorough eye exam I've had. He was informative and took his time with my son and I. They also helped us find glasses quickly, and I'm picky. I'm thankful to have found a great new office for eye care.
When we had reached a wait time of over an hour after our scheduled appointment, I had made up my mind about this place. I thought there was no way the actual appointment was going to redeem my rapidly diminishing opinion--but I was wrong. They were wonderful! The front desk staff was so friendly, and everyone who was patient-facing seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. The office was clean and had state of the art equipment. The technician was simply fabulous with my kiddos. Despite what must've been a long day for her (I gathered she was covering for being short-staffed), she didn't miss a beat. She tried her best to make up the time for us. The doctor was also top notch! Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She wasn't rushed and made us feel like special guests, despite it being the end of the day. This place may be worth the wait for you, too.

If you need a new dr, you gotta go here! The receptionists are the best I’ve ever seen in the medical field. They are so warming and down to earth. I don’t like talking to people much, but I am constantly chatting with them while I wait. They make you feel like friends not patients and it’s very refreshing. Dr Steinhauser is a peach!! I actually look forward to my annual exam because she’s so lovely. She does this because she loves helping others. Not for a paycheck. And it’s very obvious. Wonderful wonderful team at Phx eye care.
