I would hope homeowners in communities managed by this group would receive timely replies to questions and inquires. Not the case here. I have emailed our Community Manager (Parcel 15 Cooley Station) 3 times in 30 days. First with the original question and 2 follow-up email. No return communication, which is frustrating and not very professional for a company in the HOA management business. Open and timely communication with homeowners should be a core pillar of their operating standards. Perhaps there is legitimate reason for not responding, but based on other reviews, I could conclude that they don't value or understand that a lack of responsiveness to their homeowners tarnishes their reputation and impacts future business opportunities. My 2 cents.

Fined us for having a basketball hoop in our driveway. We removed it within the allotted time then fined us again. Took forever to get it resolved. Then they just sent us a late notice for our fees and I have our bank statement that states we paid it on time. Never had a worse HOA management service.

Not sure how they are able to send me and my wife a welcome packet and HOA fee statement, but some how not have a recorded HUD statement/property deed transfer from the title agency when my wife and I bought our house. Makes you wonder why they are even involved or being payed, very unimpressive.

If I could give minus stars I would. I was HOA President for 18 years and quit due to them. Our property manager just liked to brag about how awesome he was and yet it was me doing all the work because he just talked about how great he was but never had follow through. Even after quitting the board 2 years ago and going through 2 more property managers there they now have turned into harassing homeowners. They give out letters to paint and the homeowners ask for extensions and are granted them, yet they continually send out harassing letters to get it painted even though ARC forms were sent and approved and are waiting for their painting date. Its horrible that they are not able to look at their system and clearly see the houses are in painting progress. And as usual all these charges for "paper, postage, etc" on these letters are being charged back to the homeowners. This is NOT fair. Homeowners are getting letters for weeds when they clearly have NONE yet other homes that CLEARLY need a letter are not getting them. Our pool has been closed multiple times for violations and homeowners are the last to know and find out because the city violation signs and zip ties. Our pools surface was supposed to be cleaned 4 years ago and has yet to be done but again was probably another lie from the previously property manager.

Sentry Management has proven to me that HOA's are truly creditable. The new leadership at this company has gone far and above what is expected. In the past (over 2 or 3 years ago) the staff was not approachable. I have been an owner in a large community, and Sentry has always given superior customer service. Great change. I can't say that about other HOA companies (I own 6 other homes). I live in this one that is managed by Sentry. The new staff is always responsive, timely and friendly. Thank you for changing my mind about HOA management companies. I hope this staff is acknowledged for a complete turn around.
