After being hung up on 7 times, I finally got an operator. I am from Florida but in Phoenix until March with my wife on a travel nurse assignment. I’m trying to find out how to get the Covid shots, the operator, Emily, tells me they are only giving them to their people. I said OK, I guess I’ll call you to come get me if I die. She says, “ok, goodbye”. Really, is this how Phoenix VA handles vets?

Edit: bit tired, in pain, and know I am not enrolled but should be eligible. The front desk was extremely helpful in helping me realize I should go to the main VA instead of Northwest VA where I can be both enrolled and seen soon. :) Have a great day, Air Force. Hooyah. Beat Army. original Here. No clue where it is at. Horrible design of helping people fins where they need to go. ...like I just walked through the front door and no map or anything. Srsly???
Very helpful and experienced staff.
At first I thought that the staff was very friendly, however, after I was told that I had to wait a month to see a doctor to enroll which was okay...I walked over to look at brochures/information for vets and that same staff told others (while I was waiting for the elevator)..”what is she still doing here, I told her to come back in a month!!” I just thought it was rude towards a veteran.
Everyone is first rate
