Cocktail bar with a great speakeasy vibe designed to make you feel like you're in a ship. The bartender is top notch and has designed the cocktail menu himself. It's a must try if you like cocktails, speakeasies, or feeling like you've stumbled into a gem.
The Captain's Cabin is such a wonderful staple for quality tiki drinks here at Uptown. The cabin is a small cozy speaker easy run by The Captain, offering not only a year round great tiki menu, but seasonal drinks as well. Service and quality here is uncomfortable. A definite go-to of mine and a place I'll always recommend. Try the Trader's Chi Chi or Lady Saturn for gin lovers.
So sad! This is no longer Captain's. It's now Hula's and definitely is more of a hipster/chain bar then a cool, vintage tiki bar. Super disappointed.
Great Customer Service, Spectacular Craft Tiki Cocktails
This is the best tiki bar in Phoenix. Atmosphere is spot on - decor, music, lighting, and glassware are all beautiful. The drinks are GOOD (go with the classic Three Dots and a Dash). Best service by one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met! Just can’t recommend this place enough!
This may be the single greatest bar in Phoenix. I don't know why other bars even try.
This place is amazing. We've been here a few times and each time it has been awesome. It's intimate and nicely decorated. The bartender is top notch. They have a great menu selection of drinks. It's next door to Hula's Modern Tiki and has a different vibe. You could easily miss it if you didn't know it was there. Look for the door with the porthole window and the red light above to get in. I would highly recommend the Captain's Cabin. I've come here on a date and I've had a group here for a birthday party. It's great for all occasions.
