We have attended their show on 11/17. It was just fine for a local amateur studio. The problem is that the summary of the event they put up on the Chandler Center for the Arts' website (see included photo) was obviously misleading and left an impression that it would be a show by a professional company, it did not mention the name of the Academy at all. Had the summary mentioned that the show is produced by an amateur's studio we would have had very different expectation and would not have purchased the tickets. The company refused to take responsibility for this gross misrepresentation and refund our tickets.

My son has been with Phoenix Wushu Academy for 8 years and he grew up in this wonderful school. I'm so glad that I found this place, it is a wonderful family that encourages kids to not only be champions in their sport but to become a better human being as well. Through their professional training my son has blossomed into a national and international champion. I cannot be more proud of him and the school. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for high level training in Wushu and wonderful lasting friendships and community.

My son loves it here. There is no better place for your child to learn Wushu. Master Ho is not only amazing in his knowledge but has the unique teaching ability to convey it to the students in way they not only progress at a high level but ENJOY putting in the work to become better. Yes it is a school of Martial Arts but the people, from the students, parents, Master Ho, his wife Bonnie, and daughter Jane, make it much more special.

Both my daughters do both dance and Wushu at Phoenix Wushu Academy, and love it! The dance teachers are very good, and the performances provide an opportunity for the older girls to solo on a big stage. Wushu is what really makes the Academy special, however. Master Ho is a great instructor, and has a real following, including practitioners of other martial arts. He works on conditioning, teaching the basics, and working up to sparring sets. The Academy just finished a production of "Mulan" that was truly of professional caliber. The lighting, costuming, pacing, cut-scenes were all exceptional. It sold out, and I've heard from acquaintances in the Chinese community that it created quite a buzz in the Chinese local papers. Finally, there is a real sense of family within the Academy. My girls love going to Wushu to see their friends, and stay in touch with them away from the Academy. Special kudos to Master Ho's daughter, who's one of the senior students and very accomplished. Both my girls and lots of the other students get help from her when they're having problems, and my girls look up to her.
