My wife and I have visited here on numerous occasions in the past and have always experienced some lovely walks. Weekends in the summer can be busy so that's something to be mindful of. There are a number of different walks available but generally a circular walk offers plenty of variety in term of views and terrain (easy throughout)

Lovely circular walk with a bit of everything. About 8km in total, but easy going. Ice cream van often in car park. Pay and display car park
Love going to the hole of Horcum. The loop can take about three hours and can be steep down in the valley. Top of the moor lane you can see sheep and Highland cattle and I often see sand lizards in the heathland. There are also adders in the heather. The walk is suitable for most people and dogs. Car parking is available and you can loop the walk round and visit levisham for a drink or a meal at the local pub
Lovely place for a walk
Great place for a tranquil walk, toddler friendly, though the first section of the path going from the car park is a little narrow. We especially enjoyed watching the sun setting over the Hole of Horcum.
