Disappointed by our experience today. We ordered tea and sandwiches. The tea arrived first the sandwiches arrived 25 minutes later. The sandwiches were supposed to be warm (brie and cranberry; hot beef and horseradish). Both were barely warm. It might have been nice to have enjoyed our cuppa with our food but sadly we'd drank it before it became as cold as the sandwiches. Furthermore, they do not accept cash it is card only. Somewhat overpriced at almost 17 for 2 lite bites!

Visited a while ago with my partner. He had a lasagne and I had a beef and horseradish sandwich, both were absolutely divine! I do have a question - is your horseradish homemade and if it is do you sell it because it was the best I'd ever had!?

Such a lovely tearoom! Really friendly and helpful staff. I had the most delicious and generous ploughmans lunch I have ever eaten - staff were happy to wrap up the leftovers for later so nothing was wasted. I'm sad I dont live closer, but I will definitely be back next summer!!

Beautiful tea room style café right in the centre of Thornton Dale by the beck. Outside seating is a great spot to people watch with your brew. Inside is cosier for cooler or wintry days and the first floor lounge is stunning. The range of food & drink on offer is very good and the waiteresses are friendly and efficient. A great place to stop after a walk around this stunning Chocolate Box village.

Lovely cosy cafe, well organised inside so you feel safe and can relax and enjoy the delicious food. Quick service but very friendly. I had the fruit cake but was torn between the that and the lavendar scones.

Had the sweet cream tea today. It had one fruit scone, one lavender scone, preserve and cream and a pot of tea. It was absolutely delicious...the lavender scone had a really good flavour. Will definitely go back for more of these.

Good food, but a long wait to be served, over 45 mins. Everything we had was very nice but especially the ploughmans - it was great.
