Situated on Pickering station which runs the steam trains on the North Yorkshire Railway. An excellent nostalgic station and the tea rooms add to the all round ambiance. You can get hot and cold drinks and both hot and cold food from sandwiches,pies to a cooked meal.so you can see the steam trains and get something to eat and drink.Toilet facilities also available. You can park outside and Pickering town centre is a 2 minute walk away. Ramps also available to assist disabled access.

Slamming you back in time. Wonderful train station. Worth a visit and if time is not an issue hop on the train for a journey back in time

Love to visit as often as possible. Staff very friendly. Sit outside the buffet bar with our dogs watching the different trains & staff going about their business with pride. Lovely to see the teenagers helping out & always well mannered. Recently watched wedding taking place on the station, was Lovely to see. Another occasion a wedding reception being held with all party boarding the steam train in all their fineries!! Lovely experience & wouldn't hesitate recommending a visit. Keep up the good work guys, really appreciated. See you again soon!! X

Love Pickering Station and the Tearoom sets it off nicely! Good prices, friendly, jolly staff. Would definitely visit again. Always enjoy going back again.
