Hugely impressed with this restaurant. We ordered some poppadoms and a chutney tray to start and the chutneys were perfect. I have been to so many restaurants where they don’t quite get the flavour or texture right, but here they were delicious. I ordered one of the chef’s specials and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was absolutely gorgeous. My partner had the chicken madras and I tried some of his sauce and it was delicious. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. We eat at Indian restaurants regularly and this is one of the best we’ve been to. The food was absolutely perfect in every way. The service was quite quick and the staff were friendly. The tables have been appropriately distanced and screens have been installed. All staff are wearing masks or face shields and some are wearing gloves. We couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

SPICE for You Being India (southern), I went here wanting to taste some spicy food that made miss my home no longer. I was longing for some homely food. This was not the regret. Although I would say the food was more of North India than it was southern, but still it was good. Good Ambience and Good service as well.

Abdul and his team run a fantastic Indian Restaurant in Pickering. My Wife and I have been regular customers for over a year now. The food is right up there with the very best anywhere in North Yorkshire being always fresh, vibrant and full of flavour. Service is always first class, genuine and you always feel you are valued. Overall excellent value for money with very competitive prices and generous portions. Highly recommended for in house dining (safety measures are robust) or takeaway.
First visit to this place and was recommended by a Colleague. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. All in all the food ordered was enjoyed in a good atmosphere, and the restaurant was full on a Wednesday night. I will certainly visit again when in the area. Highly recommended .
