Warm, friendly and safe, foods good too, lovely soup.
Wow, Yorkshire your so lucky to have this fantastic tea Parlour, we saw it on our way home to Manchester from Whitby . into Pickering North Yorkshire ,we doubled back after passing it. Tea parlour is an understatement,to describe the experience. Decorated in the era of the 1920s -30s really amazing atmosphere and absolutely nothing fake.down to the fine china tea pots, and cake stands, silver spoons and sugar ,tongs.we are home made tea bread with Wensleydale cheese, and a cheese scone with cream cheese and onion marmalade, excellent first class local sourced or homemade. The most impressive customer service , including gluten free options.renowed for afternoon tea but not mocked up like other places, we visited a well known tearoom recently in Harrogate.and this was far far superior, bespoke and personal loved it so much I will definitely be visiting again, and recommend that people should visit.very reasonable prices, and the warmest of welcome . Yorkshire your very lucky........and so are we.
Best tearoom ever, ploughman's and afternoon tea outstanding
