Used on all my moves. Excellent service a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
This is the second time that I have used Pickfords in the last two and a half years and I was not disappointed. The service from the initial phone call to the day of my move was absolutely first rate. All the people involved both on the day and in the office couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and considerate. I can recommend Pickfords without any hesitation.
We had fantastic service with Pickford's. We chose the packing service too and admittedly was a little nervous .. \Do they pack everything\ \Will everything be okay?\ We've just woke up in our new house stress-free. Brilliant service! Not the cheapest, but definitely worth it if you want a decent stress-free move. 5 stars from us
This was a very complicated move and Pickfords were excellent. It was the relocation of elderly parents due to ill health and limiting factors were that the property and items couldn't be surveyed by Pickfords beforehand and nothing could be packed before the day. All in all, we managed. I can't praise the two removal chaps enough. They worked their socks off. With all the commotion and trying to manage the delicate situation continuously throughout the day it meant a lot of stuff we were meant to pack didn't get done. However, the guys just got on with it and packed it for us. It meant some stuff got packed that wasn't meant to and various items arrived at the new property that shouldn't have done, and they had to do a lot more packing than planned but all in all we got the job done. They didn't moan once or give any impression they were annoyed or tired they just kept going and we gave them as much help as we could loading and unloading the van. Would very much recommend, were very understanding and helped with the delicate situation as much as they could.
