I entered a competition on Facebook to win a case of wine. A rep telephoned me (I had not won) but they could offer me this fabulous deal. Went through at great length about the types and styles of wine my husband and I liked. Fruity melon whites and robust malbec shiraz. I ordered a dozen at the knockdown price of 129 was not told about 20delivery charge which was added. Wine came no sign of style of wines we discussed. They were ok at best. 2 were corked. Tried to freeze some leftover wine for cooking but would not freeze. Wonder if it had antifreeze in it then found out this company had trouble with this 30 years ago. Would not buy from again. Gave them one star as no stars not an option.

What a lovely afternoon with Gini Batey. Was very informative, without being stuffy. Great wine (well 95% of it). Gini, thank you for making it fun, was very much enjoyed by all.
HORRIBLE experience. Purchased wine tasting through an auction. Was told they don't do home tasting at the moment. I asked to just deliver wine without holding an event - was told they can't do it. When I asked for my money back - was refused a refund. I paid for the wine that I can not get. PLEASE BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I had a terrible experience with Pieroth. I paid for a wine tasting session from the taste of London Festival on June the 22nd 2019. I was promptly contacted and I went ahead to book my wine tasting for the 21st of July 2019. I was then contact by will who gave me all the information I needed for the tasting as well as the different glasses, cheeses etc. I did not have half of the things so I had to go out and purchase glasses, a jug etc. On the day I was called in the morning by Will saying that there was a family emergency and that he cannot make it. I already had friends on their way over to mine. I then had to run out and get wine and beverages. Since then I have been contacted several times to re-arrange the wine tasting however I am completely put off by the experience and so are the rest of my party. To day I just asked for my money back as it is evident that I am not going to book with Pieroth again. I was told that I cannot get my money back. I refuse to take this lying down as the tasting was cancelled at no fault of my own. I do have a voicemail recording and text message from Will which confirms that he cancelled the session and I am willing to take this trading standards as well as the press. These comments are proof that I am not the only ones that has been let down by this company. Do not book with them as they will take your money and not offer the service.
I received a voucher for this wine tasting experience with my Taste Card, so I decided to go ahead with it. The tasted wines were nice, fruity and good variety from around the world. However, once the experiences concluded I decided to purchase 2 bottles, and here is when the experiences changed from average (3 stars) to bad. The wine consultant told us that we need to purchase a minimum of 6 bottles (all of them over 20). The situation was quite awkward because this was not informed at any stage of the booking process. In addition, you are there with your friends and at your home with the guy waiting for you to take a decision soon because he needs to move to the next house... so I decided to move forward. Luckily, the next morning, I called the customer service to cancel my order. In summary, don't take this experiences at home (it last less than 45min). It'd be better to visit a restaurant or a winery to have this type of experience (over 90min experience). You will learn much more about wines at these locations with a fantastic wine experience.
