Having avoided dealing with the Maritzburg branch for a few years due to the disinterested and surly chap behind the counter I was happy to find that everything had changed when I shopped there yesterday. The shop has been extended and the new layout is an enormous improvement. I was served by Andrew who is friendly, knowledgeable and eager to assist. Well done. As my closest branch this makes it easier for me to shop at Adendorff.

It saddens me to give a negative rating, I have visited the store many times and over the years bought several items from there. During a recent visit I was interested in buying a rather expensive piece of equipment that was a "demo" unit, the friendly floor staff informed me to speak to the manager. Unfortunately the manager gave me short abrupt answers I had to go to the back of the revamped store where the item is kept and the sales counter several times to ask questions and ended up not buying the item. I would have expected the manager to take a moment and walk with me to to the equipment to address my concerns. There were few or no other customers in the store with no telephone calls at the time. I am submitting this review in the hope that the shopping experience will improve. Thank you
