My experience with Pine Crest Funeral Home was okay at best. There seems to be a serious lack of communication between the employees. I tentatively scheduled the services for my mother for a morning service and I was told that it would be no problem. My husband told them the time we planned to have the services when he dropped off the deposit. However when my father met with them 2 days later , he was told that the time we planned would not be possible and that a time had never been discussed. They did finally give us the scheduled time we needed. Also when my husband made the deposit for the services he paid them with a large sum of cash, which they gladly accepted. Two days later my father wanted to pay the remainder of the bill using some cash and he was told that they do not accept cash. I do not know what the difference two days makes in using cash. Never mind the fact that cash is legal American tender and I am fairly certain they are bound to accept legal American tender. Needless to say they made an extremely difficult situation even more upsetting. This company way want to learn to operate in a more ethical manner. I do have to say though that the funeral director we had for the services was superb.

I was so impressed with Suzanne Summerlin that wrote my policy along with her manager they where both fantastic. The best thing was the no pressure to over purchase. And the extra blessing was the beautiful building that they just remodeled with fireplace in the large viewing room and sitting arrangements in the smaller viewing room. I could not be more pleased and my family is so happy if they want have no worry when their mom and dad goes to be with the Lord.

I visited two men that I look up too, Dr.Eugene “Sledgehammer” Sledge” & Sidney Phillips. It was a peaceful resting place for the both of them and their grave stone’s were amazing. May they Rest In Peace.

We were very disappointed in the state of the cemetery. It was awful. If my mother had not already owned the plot we would not have used the facility.
