I had the best experience excluding the circumstances. I had decent eye abrasion that was extremely painful. I went to the ER in Cambridge and was given an antibiotic to apply to that eye. 5 hours later the pain was unbearable and called Pine Eye Associate's. They got me in even though everything was booked. Dr Garofalo did some debriding of the area and put a special contact bandage in place. He was beyond pleasant and professional answering and my questions while providing excellent care. I wish I could give them a 6th star for their rating.

Update: While the below did happen, I am changing my rating from a one star to a four star because a very kind eye doctor and the ownership did go above and beyond to right this situation and I think that should be known and recognized! “ I just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life here. I’m still in disbelief at the lack of customer respect and just overall empathy and human decency I experienced. Tonight I loaded up my three small kid to get my trial pair of contacts.It’s an almost 40 minute drive for me. I had been wearing glasses but they broke so my vision is pretty impaired. I called ahead because I knew I was going to get there right at 5. When I got there at 5 (according to my iPhone which is synced so I know it’s correct) employees had clearly been clearing there cars off for a few minutes which tells me they locked the doors before 5 even though I had called to tell them I was driving long distance to pick up my contacts. I approached them in the parking lot and asked very sincerely if they could find it in their hearts to let me in to get my contacts since I did indeed get there by 5 and I was told on the phone I could get my contacts if I was there by 5. The employee who responded was rude and would not let me in. I returned to my car in tears partially because I knew I wouldnt be able to see all weekend but also because of the lack of human decency. You closed your doors on me before 5 even tough you knew I was coming and then you could have easily done me a small favor that would have made a huge impact for me. Instead I wasted my families time on dangerous roads for nothing even though I arrived on time. You definitely lost my business and I plan to share this story as I don’t want anyone I know (or don’t know for that matter) to experience a situation like this. “

I would seriously warn anyone that this business is as shady as it gets! I was charged for frames and lenses I never received. They tried to scam me into a new eye exam costing 130.00. My current prescription was fine. To top it off they have this hidden policy Of charging you 60.00 if you cancel or no show for said eye exam! I am not the first but their scam is about to come crashing down all around them! I did the BBB complaint. I called the credit card company. Talking to the local news paper an TV Station . They think they can threaten me to pay 60.00 buy reporting me to the credit bureaus . They don’t know me very well

Our family was NEW, NEVER SEEN here before. We had to cancel our appointments due to circumstances beyond control and they charged a 60 PER CHILD fee for canceling. I would NOT recommend making appointments here.
