What can I say about Pinguin Druck?? I can only say they are AMAZING. Great service, And because I am to dumb to properly study German,... they speak english! And very well. Costumer service is really great, prices are really good. I print a lot with them. Always happy. I like it when a company calls by themselves when they notice a problem. Not waiting for the client to call. Nothing but praise. !!

I went there personally to print a couple samples (in the hope i could print more if everything were to be alright), but the person working there said thats not possible, as they only work with bigger batches. Next she told me I should write them an email for my enquiry???? There was nobody in line and..she was working there. But i was supposed to go back home and write her an email. I mean, okay. I wont do that, thanks. I spoke as nicely as I could, but couldnt help feeling like I was bothering the lady. All in all, wouldnt recommend, because I didnt even get to access their services, as I couldnt get past what i would call unprofessional attitude. Thanks!

Short version: Very fluctuating quality - if you’re lucky, you get a good result. Like my friend who did a totally OK photo book there. In my case, I wasn’t that lucky. A whole edition of totally unusable quality. And no regret but passive anger with lots of tech talk on their side via phone and e-mail. Never again. Long version: I ordered a digital edition and used their InDesign template that does not include a paper profile in the PDF. Asking on the phone if that is correct, I was told: yes. The result is an ugly mess of colours, totally obvious when looking at it that something is wrong. They delivered 100 although I ordered 50, so maybe the just ran it through offset - of course not adjusting the machine to my colours but to the main print job. Confronting them with these verdicts via phone and e-mail, they denied the different size of the edition, declared the colours look all right (you can barely recognise a thing in their print) and that there is nothing wrong. So to put a long story short, my personal opinion: don’t waste time & energy with Pinguin Druck, they do not seem to care a single bit, unless you are lucky and the right people process your order.
