A hanuman temple housing a hanuman idol which is estimated to be above 100 yrs old. About 4/5th of the idol was buried within the earth (only 1/5th was above the earth about 1foot) and was being worshiped by the local population as lord hanuman. This idol was barely recognisable as lord hanuman due to repeated coats of "chola" over many years. It was only when the land owner one day decided to clean up the place surrounding the idol that he realised that it was much larger than what was visible initially otherwise. A temple was duly established at the very place housing the same idol. The owner since then holds a grand fest on "hanuman jayanti" ever since the day
