Airport seems to exist primarily for tourism to the Nazca lines. There's a Musuem on the second floor which is worth seeing if you have the time.

Huge terminal. Brand new. Domestic and international departure lounges. Fully staffed security, although you can take a full bottle of water through. Deserted. Strong pong from the fish processing factories next door. More staff than pax. Loads of check in desks. Only one airline, Aerodiana, uses Cessna 208 for Nazca lines flights. Really weird place. The question is why???

Cuando lo visité fue para volar en avioneta a Nazca. El aeropuerto estaba nuevo, al parecer aún no estaba inaugurado, únicamente un segmento para los vuelos en avionetas , fue enero 2019. La infraestructura muy linda y moderna.

ナスカの地上絵を見るための遊覧飛行機が発着する飛行場ですが、最近改装されたばかりのようで、小型機しか止まらない割には不釣り合いな巨大な建物があります。もともと、国内線の空港にしようと計画したようですが、さすがに辺鄙すぎて当初の就航会社は撤退してしまったとのことです。X線検査やボーディングも無駄に大きく、逆に郷愁があります。

Buena inversion del estado, es el mejor aeropuerto donde abordar hacia lineas de Nazca. Desde aqui parten vuelos a Cusco tambien. Con el tiempo sera de mucho interes para el pueblo de Pisco y el turismo.

ナスカの地上絵を見えるための拠点です。ここから小型飛行機に乗って約1時間程度で地上絵にたどり着きます。左右一列ずつの座席配置のため、地上絵を見るときは、どちらの席に座っていてもそれぞれの窓から見えるように旋回を繰り返してくれます。人によってはこの時に酔う人もいるかもしれませんね。
