It's an important centre in Pithapuram... Business as well as residential area. This is the heart of the city . That's a four road junction, one towards cinema centre heading Kakinada, one towards market and church centre heading towards Kathipudi, Tuni and Vizag, another one towards old fort area and there are many schools and well developed area and the final one towards police station centre heading towards Samarlakota and this is the important gold market of this town. So many Jain people migrated to this locality and newly constructed Jain Temple also there. Finally in the middle of the junction Pithapuram Maharaja's statue standing tall which shows this town once ruled by their forefathers.
