Beautiful day. Beautiful gardens. Best orchard I've seen. Hercules Garden is a special place. Woodland walk is lovely. Nice Halloween touches around the woods.

A fabulous castle, wonderful woodlands and Hercules garden. A great tour around the castle, a very knowledgeable guide. We loved exploring the parkland and old Kirk too.
We stayed here on a tour in September 2018. It was a magically beautiful place. There were double rainbows when we arrived. Our room was amazing and the moon was full. I would highly recommend a visit to Blair Castle. I will return. ️󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
I recently discovered genealogy that connects me to Blair Castle. My 12th great grandfather was Sir John Alexander of Blair 1547-1608. His wife; Lady Grizel Sempill 1546-1609 is my 12th great grandmother. What a fantastic discovery. Id love to see this place.
We drove up from Edinburgh and had a great time here. The ticket prices are slightly high but the surrounding scenery is absolutely wonderful. The castle is great for exploring and has lots of historical artefacts inside. The surrounding gardens are available to explore as well. There are picnic benches in front of the castle.
Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Pitlochry, PH18 5TL, Scotland is a mid-13th Century category A listed building that has been welcoming visitors since 1936. The castle underwent a significant transformation to a more Georgian design in the 1860s. The house is a delight to visit with well maintained rooms full of period furniture, fine art, arms and armour.
Couldn't get into the castle due to restrictions. However had a wonderful time wondering the grounds
Really amazing castle in Perthshire in Blair Atholl. So glad we went - loved having the docents in the rooms to share the history and story of this part of Scotland. The grounds were just beautiful. We loved walking the gardens - it is quite extensive and could easily take a whole day to tour. Loved hearing about Queen Victoria's visit and friendship too. Be sure to take a nice camera.
