It's a nice stone to look at but the reflections from the glass make it difficult to look at the detail. There's no parking at the site of the stone. Best thing to do is park in Pitlochry and walk to it. Theres also steep steps leading upto the mound which some may find difficult.

Lovely little walk from pitlochry centre to this piece of history. Walk is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Ok to find located approx. 5 to 10 mins by car from city center. It is inside of a farm and you have to park after the gate. There is no proper parking spot. We walked up (3 to 4mins walking). The stone is isolated from the environment by some glass. Which makes it difficukt to take good pictures due to the reflections. But all in all it is a beautifull thing to see. It is 1200 years old and still impressive. Approx. 1.6m high and 60 to 70cm wide.
