Beautiful location right on the Loch with spectacular views. Horses, ducks and chickens on the farm for the kids to see. It is a very remote location though, accessed via narrow winding roads

We had booked for 3 which would of been plenty of room, one had to pull out so we had tons of space. Had everything we needed and enjoyed seening so many animals while exploring. Ideally would of liked to photo the red squirrels I saw but next time will be fine.

We had a wonderful break away here over the New year 2017-2018. We were made very welcome indeed, the hosts couldn't have done more. There is a great dog walk directly from the farm which was a huge help, plus if you fancied a paddle, you could go down the driveway and cross the road and you're right there ar Loch Rannoch! The views from our lounge balcony were stunning. I brought two foreign students with me, who were blown away by the scenery. A very tranquil and friendly place to stay

Quiet place. Way in the countryside, but loved the location and prices of cottages. Owner is very helpful as well.

I go here every year, most beautiful surroundings on the loch side and a proper Scottish holiday experience. Cottages are very comfortable and have a welcoming feel after being out enjoying the local scenery. My girlfriend and I went here with another couple for a week and had a great time, visited the House of Bruar (the Harrods of Scotland) and went on some amazing walks and even managed to fit in some fishing! Everyone is really lovely, great place to stay whether you are going with the family, friends or just fancy a quiet weekend away with someone special!

We have been going to Liarn Farm for more years than I can remember now. We are always welcomed back like family and Louise and Brian's kindness and warmth never fails. They live on-site in the farmhouse so are readily available if needed. The cottages are set on the middle of the north shore of Loch Rannoch and whether we want a really active holiday cycling or mountaineering or just a quiet holiday resting, the location is ideal for us. It is peaceful and remote enough to enjoy but not too far from the local shops (Kinloch Rannoch) if you need something, plus Pitlochry and Perth are an easy drive away for larger shops and sightseeing. All of the cottages have the bedrooms downstairs along with the bathroom, and the sitting room come kitchen/diner upstairs. Two of the cottages face east looking towards Schiehallion which can be seen from them, and the others look west with great views over the loch and towards mountains towards Bridge of Orchy. All of the cottages have well equipped kitchens so if you want to cook you can. Why do we go back year after year? We love the peaceful nature of the place, the surroundings, the multitude of things that can be done in the area (hill walking, cycling both on road and off-road, canoeing, mountaineering, sightseeing, as well as just reading or watching the sheep walk passed your window), the cottages (yes we have a favourite) and most importantly Brian and Louise.
