Best chipshop in Basildon prices a little high but well worth it for the quality of food!!

I won't be wasting my money here again!! The rude woman behind the counter (Angie, according to the receipt) accused me of queue jumping, saying \The queue's over there!\. I said to her that I was next in line (I had been in the shop for up to 5 minutes already, stood in line as you should, behind other previous customers and ultimately, the lady who she had just taken the last food order from). The customer behind me confirmed what I said to be true. *I got bad vibes about the place then and did consider walking out! She put my order together almost straight away and I said \That was quick!\, smiled, thanked her and I was off. When I got home I thought I had better take some photos, as I still had bad vibes, and I was correct. I asked for Large Cod and Regular Chips. I wouldn't say that the Cod I received was large at all, but the size of the chips portion that I received was pathetic! 1.95 for a portion of chips that size IS a rip off!!! (Please see photos). I should have walked out straight away when she was rude to me and I wouldn't be feeling hard done by now. Nice packaging, but SMALL PORTIONS and RUDE STAFF.

Dreadful mushed up chips with paper all stuck on them , woman spoke to me rudely inside the shop. Definitely will be going to my local martellas next time.
