Our family has had many positive experiences at this office, not just for cleanings and cavity care, but also through the airway centered approach they take towards caring for my children. We have been able to use Dr. Guarnieri for tongue and lip tie releases, for both my infant as well as my older children. He is skilled in this area, was patient with my nervous older kids, and provided immediate improvement for my infant who was struggling to feed well and whose latch improved immediately following the procedure. He followed up after each procedure with a phone call, allowed me to text him pictures with questions, and was available out of office hours for any concerns I had. We have also loved working with this office for myofunctional therapy and use of the myobrace, which I could not find resources for at any other location in our area.

Pittsford Dental Excellence/Dr. Guarnieri is by far the best dentist I have ever had. When I visit the office, I feel like the Dr. and staff genuinely care about me; they are super friendly and take their time explaining certain things to me and they look for practical solutions to issues that I never even knew I had. They also seem to have the latest technology. I can tell they all really love their job. It's a great environment. Also, I appreciate all the safety measures they are taking due to Covid. I highly recommend Pittsford Dental Excellence and I always tell everyone I know to go there!

I have been seeing Dr.Sam and his truly excellent Team - Tami, Renie, Mindy, and Dana - for several years since moving back to the Rochester area, and I can't say enough how positive my experiences have all been. The PDE team is genuinely friendly and helpful, but most importantly, knowledgeable and thorough. They explain all treatments and procedures and never rush their work or time with you. They take pride in everything they do for you. As someone who has had a number of different procedures, I have had complete confidence in Dr Sam, whose work with the Kois Institute is just an example of his pursuit of excellence in dentistry outside of his office, which he brings back to his patients. Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, I have been to PDE three times, and have been impressed and confident in their ability to meet - and exceed - Covid protocols. In addition to a pre-check-in form, they take your temperature, blood pressure and oxygen level upon arrival. The check-out procedure is also streamlined. There are new, stand-alone air filters in each room, which I have not seen before in other office spaces. Given the rising positivity rates in our area at the time of this review, I appreciate the extra lengths Dr. Sam has gone to protect his patients and his staff from Covid, and keep his practice open for cleanings and procedures. It is not my habit to write Google reviews - but in the case of Dr. Sam and his Pittsford Dental Excellence Team, I am making an exception for a good reason - they work hard and deserve the accolades that I and other reviewers have offered. If you are considering a new dental practice, I highly recommend PDE. They truly live up to their name.

I came in to Dr. Gaurnieri's office, not having been to a dentist in several years, knowing I would probably have some problems. Sam and his staff did an amazing job of immediately making me feel comfortable. After my first appointment, I left immensely impressed with the level of knowledge and passion the staff have for dentistry. You can tell the entire office LOVE what they do, and take an immense amount of pride and care in their work. I would recommend Sam, and Pittsford Dental Excellence to anyone in need of dental healthcare.
