The pills are great for my recovery after the birth. As a Thalassemia carrier, I need to have a lot of irons table to increase my iron level, and those pills are natural from the body maybe that's why I feel it is easier to absorb without causing any constipation which some iron tablets do. It is really a shame I have wasted my placentas for my first two boys. I also very impressed with their service. Amanda always provided relies for all my questions promptly and full of details. It is so important to feel to be supported and well prepared especially in the lockdown period. I have ordered a freezer bag to take to hospital, and received it in the next day. After I gave birth, the pickup of the placenta was smooth and quick. What is more, I have got the pills within a few days and it was really great to have them so quick after the birth. I'm pleased to have chosen the placenta practice, and made my life easier. I would definitely recommend to my friends!

My wife used Amanda’s service and I had no hesitation in doing the same when expecting my daughter. I was keen to do anything possible to offset the risks of PND. The collection from hospital was smooth and I received my tablets in only a few days. I didn’t always remember to take them and noticed a difference on the days without. I’ve ordered a tincture to ensure I have a longer lasting option for the future too. Recommended.
I cannot recommend Amanda at Placenta Practice enough. I received great, straightforward service with speedy responses at all times. I wanted to encapsulate my placenta for many reasons, mainly due to suffering with iron deficiency anemia and worried I'd have no energy post-birth to take care of my baby. Since taking these capsules I have great energy - a lot better than when I compare to the past taking iron pills. I will definitely be using Amanda's services in the future for my future babies! Cannot recommend this company enough. I really did my research of placenta encapsulation and looked at lots of companies and Amanda came out on top. I was really worried how the logistics would work with it all , especially as we were in lockdown and I was hoping to have a home birth. But it was so straight forward . The capsules arrived quickly and the benefits were amazing !!!! I didn’t have any big hormonal dips like I did with my first . I felt full of energy , happy and my overall recovery seemed much quicker and easier . Wish I had done this with my first baby . Was a big investment but one I would I make again in a second .

One thing I came across was placenta encapsulation, which sounded strange at first but after more research seemed to tick all the boxes. I enquired with a few companies but Placenta Practice was local to us and offered a very efficient costumer service, which for me was the most important in such an intimate time of my life. The owner, Amanda, was super helpful and kind, filling me with confidence in regards the service and the product. The whole process of the box being delivered and collected, then delivered again was excellent. Communication was great. No fault there, which was so important at such a precious time in our lives! Of course, you can’t prove it is 100% down to the capsules, but I was surprisingly full of energy the first few weeks after birth, in very good spirits and didn’t even experienced baby blues! I have recommended the service and product to many friends already, and although most people go “Eugh” when I mention the process, I will keep sharing my story and will use Placenta Practice again for my next baby!
