One of my favorite wineries in Placerville! Heard they closed down around May 2019 :(

Whether you've been naughty or nice it's time to celebrate the holidays. For me, having a nice bottle of champagne is truly a treat. My favorite bubbly is at Auriga Wine Cellars. It's a little sweet and not dry. This is the perfect complement to a holiday get together or a special occasion. But don't just stop at the champagne tasting, continue to try Auriga's award winning wines. You may find yourself becoming a wine club member and enjoying their featured wines all year round as I do inside their cozy tasting room.

I really like their sparkling wine. It's a treat but it goes fast! I very much enjoy their entire selection, but their sparkling wine was the real pleasant surprise. Their other wines are very nice and reasonably priced. Tasting is free, and they're well located on Pleasant Valley Road along a route containing many other terrific Pleasant Valley wineries. Take the turn at Holiday Market and you're well on your way to Fairplay wine region as well.

Outstanding wines, especially the late harvest chardonnay and the sparkling wine. There staff are very knowledgeable.

We just enjoyed our last bottle of Quartz Hill Vineyards 2008 Merlot and it was EXCELLENT! Sure wish they had more!
