From start to finish the level of customer service from Phil and his team is second to none. If you want the \best of the best\ for your vision then it is available here. I am on my fourth pair of varifocal glasses and have always been happy with advice that I have received. This time I asked Phil to achieve a very specific set of unique results; I am pleased to say that we have surpassed all our expectations. After my long term opticians were taken over, and the quality of service plummeted, I was left looking for somewhere that offered a high standard of eye test, and a high standard of service... I honestly should have tried Planit year's earlier, a traditional thorough eye test, during which everything was explained clearly and without any fuss,nothing was too much trouble. Then it was on too the fun part of choosing my new frames and lenses... What followed was quite simply the best frame fitting I've had in 40 years of wearing spectacles, a plethora of styles, shapes and colours were asked for to be tried , luckily I was guided by solid professional advice on which frames and lens would best suit me... Finally if you need more than one pair ( I need 3) payment can be spread over a period to suit your needs and with insurance,any mishaps can be sorted very swiftly... A perfect example of this.. I broke the nose pad on my frame whilst working away from home, I phoned Planit explaining.. And I was told to pop in when I returned home... When I popped in two days later, there was a brand new replacement frame waiting for my lenses to be swapped into them... Which took minutes... So now I get to my latest spectacles.. Quite simply impeccable service, between having my eyes tested, selecting ordering and payment... Delivery took one whole week... So what was the problem.. I had been involved in a small accident which had left me housebound on crutches and in extreme pain, so travelling into town to collect my new spectacles would have to wait until I could get there... NOPE.. Planit opticians simply came to me, stopping off at my house after closing time, fitting the frame sorting out the paperwork and ensuring that everything was absolutely spot on... A truly unique service and one which I can't praise highly enough.
