The staff were friendly and courteous, the office was clean and Covid 19 guidelines were being followed. We felt safe and comfortable. Dr Shea was friendly, kind compassionate and personable. She had extensive knowledge of the many health problems that my daughter is going through and patiently waited for us to explain what has been going on. She is working with our other specialists to help figure out the best course of action for my daughter and is doing some more testing. We were even able to have her blood done right there in the office by Tara who was fantastic and made the experience easy on her and had her smiling. 5 stars for sure .

I don’t like to leave negative reviews however the experience that I had from the staffs was extremely unprofessional. My daughter was referred to Dr. Shea Through her pediatric. We met with the Dr. Shea once few month ago. The visit went well however every other meeting or appointment with the nurses or the front office was the worse. No follow ups , no specific instructions on what is needed to be done. You need to call and follow up so many times and speak to someone so you can get a response back. The front office when you call it’s a hit or miss if you can get someone who isn’t rude to speak to you. This is Dr office and they should treat their patients with respect.

I was referred to Dr. Shea after a hospitalization at Texas Health Resources in Plano. I was hospitalized for DKA and pancreatitis. When I called in August to get an appointment, they had received my information already. The woman on the phone said they’d review my info and let me know “if” Dr. Shea would see me. A few days later, I received a call to schedule my appointment. The woman on the phone said I wasn’t urgent, so they’d see me in two months. It was mid August, and she wanted to schedule me for the end of October. DKA isn’t urgent? Between then and now, I’ve seen a wonderful endocrinologist, Dr. Subramanyan TWICE. I don’t know what Dr. Shea considers urgent, but after being in the hospital 7 times this year (including ICU 2x), I wasn’t waiting two months to be seen. Her scheduling staff isn’t very friendly nor understanding. I wouldn’t recommend her and I plan on telling my GI who referred her that he shouldn’t continue to do so.

I was nervous walking into this office after reading some of the reviews however, I have to say my experience with Dr. Shea and the team entire team was second to none! Everyone was extremely polite from the moment I walked in. The service was fantastic and Dr. Shea was patience with me answering every question I had and asking several questions of her own. She made sure I walked out understanding everything including the strategy for our go forward efforts! Thank you all for a wonderful experience today and I look forward to getting my life back on track and with you all helping me get there!
