Dr. Carlton and his crew are fantastic! I live 5 hours away and they communicated with me via email to set up the tests and operation. I’m very pleased with the results.

Was a very good experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You got a team around you to help you succeed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for rejuvenating my life.

Dr. Carlton and his team are absolutely amazing! They really listen to you and are always available if you have questions. Dr. C did a lap band to sleeve revision for me and it was a great experience. I'm 6 weeks out and doing fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Lonestar Bariatrics!

Dr. Carlton, Allison, and team are so great! My experience has been life changing... Before I started this process, I had several health issues going on, including high cholesterol, chronic migraines, lupus, and fibromylgia. I was taking over 30 pills a day and doing medical massages once a week to just stay functional. I'm now 6 weeks post-op, and I've only had ONE migraine in that time. I've also been able to stop taking cholesterol medication and immunosuppressive medications (for my lupus). The icing on the cake is that I'm down 35 lbs from when I started this process. I feel so much better overall, with more energy and less pain than I've had in years. I am so thankful that I went through with it. The only thing I would do differently is get this done sooner!

I got a gastric sleeve 15 months ago and have lost 160 pounds. Very easy process, I was up and moving around pretty normal the third or fourth day after surgery. I'm now in a healthy weight range. I dont worry about my health like I did before. My blood pressure is in a good range, I no longer get gout flare ups, and I can move around easier. I had to let my pride go a little in order to get the surgery. There's a stigma that its the easy way out, but you're simply making your health a priority. If you're in a place where you think you need this, I would recommend it.
