What an interesting and lovely experience, please note that due to COVID restrictions you must book your ticket online. The house belong to an important Welsh merchant Robert Wynn, all the are are well maintained, the staff is very helpful giving you the insights of you this family leaved and all the details that they held in the property that was a really luxury at the time. Plastered walls, on suite toilets etc. Really recommended the visit

Wonderful, atmospheric historic, house in the centre of Conwy town. My 9 year old grandaughter has visited with me many times and is always ready to return. Costumes available for dressing up are much enjoyed. We enjoyed the freedom to roam through this lovely old house at our own pace, although guided tours are available and audio tours are available.

If you have a spare afternoon and you happen to be visiting Conwy, you could treat yourself to a visit to Plas Mawr.this Place is simply stunning! Its bristling with history, its beautifully decorated and furnished with authentic period furnishings and you also get a audio guided tour around the attraction! Simply put this is an awesome afternoon. Staff are polite and informative and are also well versed on the history of the town house.

Amazing, well preserved Elizabethan house in centre of Conwy. Great audio guide and beautiful house. Tranquility of the garden makes you think you are out in the country and not in town. Parking plentiful and a short walk away. Just beautiful.

Really enjoyed this and the audible tour is well worth it. Lots of characters to tell their stories. In each room there’s a trigger point which activated the audible box and gives you the information pertaining to that room, way to use.
