Nice variety of traditional dishes. Very good wines. Nice service in general. Price is a little high, but I guess it's worth.

Definitelly don't recommend for english speaking tourists. Nice place, dishes looked very good, but our experience was very bad. We wanted to experience spanish cuisine, so we asked a waiter for a little guidance...he was totally not helpful, loked annoyed or frustrated. Recommended steak was a disappoitement, unequal doeness ordered medium, it was medium rare at best, but ok i am not a trouble maker so i accepted it and ate the most of it. Paired wine was a complete disaster, sour supemarket heartburn causing one. And as a side french fries??Ehm for the price..! Octopus which my girlfriend had was quite good , but too spicy. If you are sure what you want, they will probbalby make it to your happiness, but it is hard to pick a wine just by the name and price.Day before we had a McDonald which i enjoyed much more and that probabbly describes it.We were eager to leave the place.

great place for portions of suckling pig. no need to book in advance for a suckling pig. we also had a suckling leg of lamb. both cooked very well. the meat was soft and tender and the suckling lamb had a crispy skin. the padron peppers was also juicy. quality of food was excellent. price was reasonable for the quality.

Loved it here. We both had a fillet steak. Impressive place very busy. With lots of happy staff and customers. More expensive than other places but you get what you pay for. If your looking for a special place for dinner I would recommend meson castellano

Typical tourist place. Paella was average and way overpriced for the 2 shrimps and 4 mussels we got for 2 people. You are also charged service fee that you see only in the bill.

Meson Castellano, Probably THE Best Place for Steak Lovers in South of Tenerife. Meson Castellano has such a sophisticated selection of steaks; from Spanish Wagyu, Swiss, German, Spanish Bull, Spanish Brown, to melt in your mouth Filet Mignons, and USDA Ribeyes as good as you get in the States. This is probably THE best place for steak lovers in South of Tenerife. Not forgetting their other variety of meat of roasted leg of lamb, such tender lamb cutlets, suckling pig, veal, fresh fish and chicken, you definitely will not regret paying slightly higher prices for the quality and consistency time after time. tenerifelocalfoodguide
