Had a lot of fun walking a long the beach, taking photos, enjoying the sun set. This is a nice spot to pull off and enjoy some beach time. Parking at the beach was 9.00, but for the views, it was worth the cost. I definitely recommend this spot for families, couples and maybe those looking to do photo shoots as there is also nice views of the surrounding mountains! Would love to stop back at this location. We also enjoyed the fact it wasn't overly packed with people. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR TRASH...

Close to LAX so very convenient. Parking is 9 they do take debit cards. Lots of surfers. Nice to watch waves. Bike/walk path. Just be careful dead birds and used needles.. lots of parking and bathrooms available. RV parking as well.

This State Beach features a three mile long shoreline with a picnic area and concession stand. The wide beach is beneath the takeoff path from Los Angeles International Airport. The beach is beautiful, sandy, next to LAX, so can see planes taking off, plenty of activities such as beach volleyball, running, bike riding, surfing, etc. people love to walk on the beach to enjoy the fresh air. Personally, I like to watch the plane taking off from LAX, you hear the jet engine roaring. Parking is tough, go early!

To experience the drive-in sunset - from your car WHILE oceanfront, can't be beaten. It's a well-spent 9.00 for entry. It was different from the other beach went visited. because, tents were on the sand. It could have been a Valentine's Day, thing, but looked like a couple of Doyle dates on the sand and even in the trunk of their own cars. I loved it. You can tell it's a sit the homies love because there was a group of low riders and hydraulic Oldsmobiles out there filled with youngins. But they were chilling. Oh, eat before you get there or take your lunch basket. No restaurants were in sight! Neither were any pit fires.

Beach is beautiful but 9.00 to park there no matter how long is overpriced in my opinion and the beach was pretty dirty.
