I have had to put my Stepdad here twice. Cynthia was so great to work with. Not only did she make the process easy, but they also took good care of him. Its not a new bldg, but the care was very good and people were very nice. Thats what matters most!! Cynthia not only went above and beyond to help, but she gives out her cell phone and answers it! ( even on her day off). I would recommend anyone who's priority is \quality care and rehab\ consider The Plaza.

This is the worst place you can put your love one. My mother has Dementia and they treat her worst than a dog.. They do poor hygiene on my mother lips peeling and cracking. She has fall out the bed no rails. They don't dress her,cover her up, and now she got COVID-19 from staff member. Now my mother has to go all the way to Lucedale for dialysis. She is in pain and we have to call to get her help while standing outside her window. Please run from this place if you don't want your live one mistreated. Short-handed with staff. Agnes

I would recommend that anyone do a site tour when looking at a facility to place their loved one. Too many people will write negative reviews because of something they “heard” or because they are angry about something. The great reviews rarely get posted and the poor reviews do. This facility gives good care and has tenured employees as well. Go do a site tour and ask a lot of questions!

Bro cat lover and snow lover

The community center needs some renovations, and could use more staff. My grandpa is there, and if it were up to me, he'd be somewhere else. The rehab needs to be actual rehabilitation and it isn't. The people for the most part are nice enough, the food seems to be decent, but the overall care my grandpa is getting isn't up to par.
