Made a special trip to this store as the only store to have my item in stock, (telephone) collected drove home and started to un package to find it was a previous used return! Item had names/numbers in the phone book, missed calls and received calls in its memory, also in the instruction book was writing and codes from previous user! not impressed with this at all !! Not sure they check returns properly, lost faith in whether I am buying new or used.

I ordered 2 items and the delivery came in 5 hours from me placing the order to getting it. Incredibly fast delivery and staff are very friendly. I've ordered alot from Argos and it's always top quality.

Absolutely disgusted! Having just moved into a new property, I have spent hundreds of pounds, having new things delivered! Up until now, no problems. However, today I should of been having a swivel chair delivered, the driver rang to say they we're on route to me, and asked me the usual covid questions, have a been in contact with anyone, are self isolating myself, to which I replied NO. He then said we'll be with you in about half hour. Hour later, I get a call saying, they won't be delivering to me, cause I said I had been in contact with someone, and they didn't feel safe. Rang customer service to say how angry I was, clearly said I was safe, and now I have wait until Wednesday evening, as I'm at work during the day! Hence why I ordered it to be delivered Saturday! So angry, poor communication, on the driver's side. Shan't be ordering from Argos again!

Purchased three items from here in as many months. On both occasions have I been advised at the point of sale that my warranty is with the manufacturer, not Argos. I asked 'Chrissy', the lady who served me, if this was in addition to my statutory rights, only to be told that's not how Argos do things and that it's changed. Disgusting. This is clearly what the management here are instructing the staff to do as it was more than one staff member. Chrissy even circled my receipt to make sure I definitely don't come back to them if my item is faulty. I'm now concerned I won't have any rights over the products I've just spent good money on. Will be calling head office for advice. Avoid this store.
