The website describes this golf course as a friendly place, suitable for beginners. The dress code is no where to be found. We were disappointed on arrival to our booked tee time to be told we could not continue because my partner was wearing casual trousers. I completely understand places have dress codes, but you have to make them accessible. We found the staff be a little unwelcoming, and I didn’t get the impression beginners are welcome here, despite the advertising.

I didn't use it. Just cycled through it on my way to Drakes Trail. Looks like a meticulous golf course.
