Cambridge were brilliant to start with - they arranged the service quickly and Heather in the office and the guys on the job were really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was more damage to our stuff than we expected and the company (represented by Kelly in the office) didn't seem particularly bothered about sorting it out. Several plants were squashed in packing and one was crushed by having things unpacked on top of it. A lamp was broken, the baby's cot was cracked and, most upsettingly, a bookshelfhad a large chip out of the top shelf and was left with a spare shelf covering the damage. Although we were eventually compensated the full amount applicable, Kelly did not initially offer the full amount and we received no apology for any of the damage. It was sad because the rest of our experience with Cambridge was very good. My advice to anyone considering using this company is to check the conditions for the additional insurance (which we didn't have) and make sure you pack any valuables or fragile yourself. I think that some damage on a long journey is to be expected, so try to take anything sentimental or irreplaceable yourself. Also, we were unaware of the time limit to unpack, check for and report damage being 1 week so make sure you read the terms and conditions! I probably wouldn't use this company again but only because of the damages. And, other than the correspondence after the move, which felt very company-preservation focused rather than customer-service orientated, the service was very good. (See the response from the company below for an example of the attitude I mean - feels like it's more about justifying the company's stance than helping the customer. Understandable, as a profit-driven organisation, but leaves an unpleasant taste.)

I moved house recently and would highly recommend Cambridge, firstly I was very happy with the safety measures taking place, moving during a pandemic can create its own problems! I also had a piano and lived in a first floor flat! This was no issue and moved with ease. Very friendly, thanks for your help with the move.
