Right from check in our stay with Casa Mia was brilliant. We were visiting family in Plymouth and haven't been before so I emailed Jane @ Casa Mia and she gave me directions and also the number of a taxi firm (very helpful for 2 hopeless travellers) Upon check in Jane & Mahmoud suggested a music festival which was going on on the hoe and also that it was armed forces day the next day... we explored both and were very pleased! The room was brilliant (room 5) comfy bed, crisp sheets even a 'Myra' shower with top notch body & hand washes! We didn't have time for breakfast on our first day as I soon regretted when tasting the breakfast on Sunday morning. I had poached eggs, smoked bacon & mushrooms! Jane is a domestic goddess the egg was perfect, the bacon was exceptional and the personal service was wonderful!! Being in hospitality myself I always look for the nit picky things and I was not disappointed with Casa Mia, Jane & Mahmouds eye for detail cannot be slammed!! Location, service & facilities AMAZING! will definitely be returning without a doubt for our next trip to Plymouth! Thank you Jane & Mahmoud

Can't fault it. Was there for three weeks in the end on business and Jane was accommodating beyond the call of duty. I was coming and going from London over the weekends, checking in and out at odd times, my booking went from 3 weeks to 2 weeks to 4 weeks to 3 weeks and despite it being peak season Jane somehow managed to accommodate me and always managed to ensure I was able to get in - even when I arrived at 6am one Monday! Rooms are spotless (and I stayed in 3 over the course of 3 weeks!), beds comfy and breakfast is cooked to order and big enough to keep you going for the day (and the staff were able to vary it up sufficiently that I didn't have to eat the same thing every morning for three weeks!). The location is perfect - it is literally 2 minutes from the Barbican and 7 minutes to the central shopping area and well, literally over the road from the Hoe! Friendly enough to be warm and welcoming but not intrusive, something that is very important when here on business. The free wireless is great if in town for work, although I would recommend that if you need the wireless, that you mention this in advance, as some of the rooms have better access than others, although you can always use the tables and chairs in the dining room where there is fast internet and peace and quiet. The rates are less than the average cheap hotel (I wont mention names but we know who they are) and the stay is overall a much better, more comfortable and friendly experience. Top marks
