I'm totally appalled by the sheer lack of exceeding in a customer experience. I booked a table for my partners 50thbirthday to be called up 4 hours before my reservation to be asked of we can come in earlier, as their not that busy. What they meant was they can close the restaurant then and all go home. I was appalled. Again asking for a refund on my deposit and their card machine not working sgsin. Reall is time you got a card machine that works and truly understand how to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Great dining, drinks and service. Well worth a try.
Absolutely no regard for Covid-19. We sat down and ordered two glasses of wine. Some 10 mins later it was clear that no one was coming to sanitise the table (and it hadn't been done as there were clearly round marks on table from drinks of previous occupants). I asked if we could have the table cleaned and a "security guard" came over and very grudgingly cleaned but wouldn't even look us in the eye. We saw several changes of guests at tables and not once were the tables santized between each use. Oh, and 10 for one 250ml glass of Malbec, rip off. The only reason I have given 2 stars is that both of the waitresses were very friendly, the only good thing about this place.
What a Gem! A truly wonderful visit with a group catered for in a spectacular setting. I can not recommend Custom House highly enough, the service was fantastic, and the truly talented chef delivered food that was delicious , innovative and absolutely amazing!
Amazing selection of wines
Took 2 hours to get our food. No one explained to us what was happening, we were not checked on, and no one apologized until I said we were disappointed and didn’t know what was going on. At one point we sat there with empty drinks and no one came to our table for 40 minutes. We got our food to go instead because by the time we received it it was 9:15. Our waitress ignored us but the redeeming quality was that they did comp our meals which honestly was appropriate but was glad that happened at least. It was our anniversary, we were really looking forward to it- really disappointing.
We felt let down by our first experience at the custom house but surely made up for it second time round.staff were very friendly and tended to our needs. many thanks
Amazing atmosphere in a beautifully restored building. No expense has been spared in upgrading this building to an amazing wedding/functions venue. Downstairs is the atmospheric cocktail bar where you are entertained by the very talented mixologists as they concoct the most delicious cocktails and where you can indulge yourself with delightful "tapas" style morsels created by the imaginative and clever chef Alex Gibbs. There is music to keep you in the mood and during the day service on the terrace at the front of the building so that you can enjoy the sun and sea. What more could you ask for?
