Scott, a local Plymouth man, attended Stoke Damerel Community College, worked for various local companies installing a wide range of Energy Management products before qualifying as a DEA and starting the business. Energy Saving Solutions works with customers in the South West to reduce Energy and Carbon use. Scott said “ a few years ago, all the energy companies put a “Green Levy” on everyone’s energy bills so that we all had to save for installing measures that reduce Energy and Carbon use. People are generally not aware that they are even paying this. Even a simple measure such as having your loft professionally insulated will reduce your heating cost by approximately 30% for the next 30 years! People also don’t realise, that, in the majority of cases, some of these energy saving measures can be done for FREE for home owners and tenants and it's not means tested! People struggle to understand that the reason its free is that we get paid from the ECO’s fund that they have paid into every time they pay their bill. So it’s only right everyone claims their share back”.
