I used Excalibur to get me some health insurance; as a small business owner, I need to be fit to keep the business going. I was worried about getting insurance as I had a knee op a few years ago. This normally means you will not be covered however Stella found me a policy that will insure me if I've had no problems in 2 years. I'm now feeling very confident and happy that I have private medical insurance to get me back up and running if any problems arise.

Excaliber have recently assisted me with obtaining a mortgage to purchase a property and I cannot praise them enough - Especially Kirsty Lloyd who was assigned as my broker. It was a rather complex case and the chosen lender also difficult to deal with at times, but Kirsty persevered, remained patient, provided the best advice and communication throughout the entire process. The other guys in the office were also always very polite and friendly when I called, and offered call backs or to pass messages on when necessary. Thank you Excaliber - I will be back again when the time comes to remortgage!

This is a terrible company/brokers. I was given the incorrect information and insurance policy by one of their staff members. When I tried to claim for something I had specifically discussed /asked for I was told by the insurance company that I wasn’t covered. I have been dealing with the financial ombudsman regarding Excaliber for the last year, they have been through everything with a fine tooth comb and have twice now settled in my favour. I have even had the final decision in my favour and Excaliber still won’t pay me for the mis-sold policy even though the insurance company have on record the staff member admitting that he didn’t understand the policy correctly when he sold it to me and querying why they didn’t pay up. The owner of this company still has not even had the courtesy to call me to discuss it and is ignoring the final decision of the Ombudsman which I think is disgusting. I have held off saying anything bad about this company until now, as they were supposed to settle up with me yesterday and haven’t. I have really had enough. This has been going on for over 1 year now. I took the insurance out via a broker as oppose to doing it myself over the internet because I wanted to make sure of my cover. SHAME ON YOU STELLA GOODMAN at EXCALIBER

Appt 2 years ago. Felt ripped of for work undertaken. Had to keep contacting office but messages never responded. Only response was when I asked for no further work to be undertaken. Further appt given and printouts given to me as "advice" were dated previous day, so obviously nothing done in 6 weeks. Waste of time.
