We decided to use Flooring Republic at Faraday Mill in Plymouth after looking around at lots of different flooring suppliers. We wanted some good quality laminate flooring for our living room, but we wanted a particular shade and a realistic wood effect with texture. The only other supplier that came close to what we wanted was B&Q, but when we went into the showroom at Flooring Republic the difference in quality was quite obvious. We could get a premium quality, thicker laminate at Flooring Republic for the same price as B&Q's basic (thinner) flooring. It was a simple choice really. Also the gentleman at Flooring Republic was really helpful and assisted us with selecting the right underlay etc, as we had never done this type of flooring ourselves before, his expertise was a massive help. We measured the floor ourselves and over-estimated how much flooring we would need. Once we had finished we had a spare unopened pack which we were advised (at the time of purchase) that we could return if it wasn't needed (which we did, without any trouble). Our floor is now complete without too much fuss, and we are really pleased with it. We would definitely use Flooring Republic again.

Stumbled upon the shop by chance and what a great find. The service in the shop was fab, great selection of floors. Quantities and pricing were quickly worked out for us with no hard sell or pressure. We opted for the fitting service and the guys were amazing. Quick efficient and fab attention to detail. I would highly recommend flooring republic, it is a hidden gem! They offer great quality flooring, give an excellent consultation to help your choose the right flooring. Their prices are very good, cheaper than the other places in Plymouth. The shop is a little basic but don't let that put you off, the flooring is very easy to put together and looks brilliant.

Flooring republic was recommended by a work mate and having visited the store I was not disappointed, a great range of flooring from laminate to solid wood. Sean the store manager gave me great advise on the types of flooring and a deal was done. Richard delivered the flooring the week before the installation date, on the the day of the installation Richard arrived promptly and made a fantastic job of fitting. A great service from start to finish from the service in store to the fitting.

We had excellent service from Sean, he helped us choose our flooring and was really helpful with any of our questions. We were very happy with the pricing and scheduled us in for fitting to a time that suited us with his own fitters. The fitters who layed are our flooring have done an amazing job we can't fault it and everyone who has seen it mentions how neat and tidy it looks. After being let down by another supplier we approached Flooring Republic with a very tight timescale due to the imminent delivery of our furniture. Sean the manager came out to survey the job next day. He then made arrangements to have it fitted within the week. Richard the fitter was very professional and we are very pleased with the finished flooring. I would most definitely recommend this company as the staff were very friendly and most efficient in providing us a high quality flooring within a very short timescale.
