This was just an absolutely comprehensive evaluation and consultation. Paul was, as near as makes no difference, a clinical expert in foot pain, special footwear, and orthotics. Lorraine, the podiatrist at Foot Solutions does a wonderful job, as did her colleague (a lady from Liverpool who left to take a job in the NHS). However, if you e-mail them to say that you can't keep an appointment, don't expect it to be read. Yes, I have been late a handful of times as even today, only one wheelchair user can be on a bus at one time, and the Torpoint ferry can be late. When I popped in today to make an appointment (for podiatry) I was rather taken aback to be asked had I not received their letter, which I hadn't. I was told that as I had been late on "many occasions", they would not be seeing me again. The fact that I had e-mailed them to cancel my last appointment was ignored, and I was told that they hadn't received it… Packets of data that get corrupted over a network are resent. I shall be voting with my feet and finding somewhere else. I don't buy really expensive footwear anyway…..
The shop has a very good selection of footwear that can accommodate all widths and sizes (as I have a very wide foot). The staff are very polite and helpful, with a clear in-depth knowledge on inserts and shoe fitting. After my visit to the store and purchasing both, my foot and back pain has improved significantly. One happy customer, who will be returning again.
I went in to Foot Solutions Plymouth around 6 months ago, after suffering with severe Heel pain. I bought a pair of custom made arch supports specific for my feet and they have worked wonders for me after a couple of weeks of wearing them! I no longer hobble around in pain and I have been able to start up running again. The team seemed very friendly and helpful when I went in for my assessment and also very knowledgeable! I would 100% recommend the store for anyone who has any foot problems!
Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They have have helped me greatly. No more knee pain now I have full arch support, they are worth every penny.
Elderly Mother didn't have the best experience in this shop. When the correct sized insoles finally arrived, they were shop soiled, filthy and not worth 99. Shop refused to give a full refund and the only offer was store credit. If a product is faulty (sales assistants words) they won't resell it but equally won't reimburse the customer. A change in store policy is required and more customer empathy. NOT GOING BACK.
