Almost always use Hertz. This branch are honest and don't try to rip you off. Hired several vans and they don't 'find' damage.

Arrived to collect a car only to be told it wasn't there. The chap advised me that they had 22 cars booked out that day and only 4 day out on the forecourt. Because I had somewhere to be within the hour one of the staff kindly gave up their company car for me to have instead which he didn't really have to but was much appreciated. As a result I would definitely consider returning but suggest the management stop allowing bookings for vehicles they don't have.

Not really happy with the service provided, was aiming for a convenient drop-off and pick up at the Plymouth station. But they were not on time, they did not drop the car off at the station and I had to go there with all my luggage and pregnant wife. On the Sunday after drop-off, they were not open so had to arrange at extra cost to get back to the station. These guys are not here for your satisfaction, they are just occupying a post, my advice if you are after convenience is to use another company that tells the truth and aims to please you not to discredit you.
