This review is for the Plym house branch . I always trusted solicitors until I went here ! Irrelevant and unnecessary work carried out by assistant solicitor now “resigned” . Informed by assistant solicitor that secretarial work he had to do was charged at his hourly rate .They deny this ! He told me one secretary served three solicitors and ran reception hence the need for him to do secretarial work . Issues over monies paid into a client account! Tim Quinn , Head of Litigation expresses concern over many management issues relating to my case . When issues are escalated to a complaint, compliance officer replies in complete opposition to Tim Quinn’s verbal comments but then I guess she didn’t realise I had recorded him! Conflicting advice given, told I needed an expert witness , this was then dropped then told by barrister one was needed ! Advised to go for a 6 month “stay” wasn’t explained that this would delay the trial by 18 months minimum . Complete and utter mess , immense stress .
