Now known as The Market Deli. Excellent traditional style Cheesemonger and Deli. Extra Tasty or Mature cheeses are delicious, great gammon offcuts at 50p per 100g!! Pork pies are delicious too. Friendly service and much better offerings than at a supermarket, also now offer a delivery service.

The cold & fresh meat from Market Deli is so tasty, I don’t like going into town, but I make a trip in just for this, if you struggle to get into town, they will deliver, I think there is a delivery fee if over 10. The staff here are so friendly and helpful.
A good old fashioned type deli in the pannier market. Lord of local fresh produce. Their butter is the best.
I come from London and visit L & P Tapp to get my hogs pudding I’ve been doing this for years as this is the only place that I personally think does the best Great service and I love coming to the market as it also begins back great memories of when I used to go there with my Nan when she used to purchase from the same stall
Worth a visit. The food is not only quality but is very well priced. I would say that the prices are about half that you would pay at the super market.
