A nice restaurant with views overlooking Plymouth and the sea front. Cake here for afternoon tea with a friend. The sandwiches were decent...the fillings weren't very exciting but the bread was fresh & the food was plentiful. The mini cheese cake was delicious and the carrot cake was nice. I had a latte with it which was also wonderful. The only thing I'd note is the service was really slow even though they weren't busy when we arrived. Overall it was a good experience and I would come back here. Recommend.

Have been here twice- both during coronavirus pandemic. The best views in Plymouth, particularly at sunset. Fantastic burgers at reasonable prices and welcoming and attentive staff. On our original visit which was pre sunset, when there were less restrictions, our waitress let us stay for a digestif and moved us to another table so we could enjoy the sunset. Thank you to the team at MPW Crowne Plaza Plymouth, you are an asset to the city and we hope to see you again very soon.

I presume with it being the evening before the second lockdown, we had a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce, chips, vine tomatoes and a beer or glass of wine for 20.00. Enjoyed the meal though found the steak a bit too over seasoned for me. Had a lovely evening though in a relaxing setting.

There wasn't really much wrong with the place but there wasn't anything great about it either. Given the name of the restaurant and his face being plastered everywhere, you do kind of expect a high standard. The service from some staff was fine and from just one on my visit was not OK. When I asked a waiter over to request water the response I got was 'what?'... took me a moment to remember what I wanted because I was quite surprised to be met with a tone as if I was causing an inconvenience. The food was fine, but again, not impressive. I dont think we ate anything we couldn't do better at home by ourselves to be frank. The views are lovely if you are lucky enough to get seated at one of the very very few sea-view tables. It might be because of covid restrictions that perhaps there are less tables, but nonetheless it was a disappointing view we got. Overall I would only put 2 star because the main feeling we left with was disappointment. We were very excited to be going before we went, and left feeling like it really wasn't worth it. Probably won't go back :(

It's got a fantastic view and looks amazing inside. Few things I wasn't happy about. They mixed up our burgers, and the amount of money we paid you wouldn't expect that. Also a cheeky service charge. But apart from that the food was lovely and service was quick. We had a lovely time.
