We have just gone through the process of selling and buying a home for the first time, a very confusing and stressful time in normal circumstances, so doing it during a national pandemic has had its difficulties. If it wasnt for the team at Mortgages4Plymouth helping it run smoothly and putting the right things in place, I doubt we would be in our new family home right now. The main person dealing with our process was becky who has been absolutely fantastic throughout. She has been at the end of the phone at all hours of day to help with our questions or situation. She has been very knowledge, helpful and professional throughout which has made this process so much easier for us. Mortgages 4 plymouth is ran by Trisha who has over 30 years in the business. There is nothing this lady does not know about her trade. The officea are littered with awards for service and to be honest its easy to see why. This is a business that truly knows how to put the customers wants and needs first giving the best open and honest advice. They take the time to truly understand your requests. Meetings and initial comms are handled by the lovely Sonia who has the sense of humour of an absolute angel. Then there Oli, Trisha Dynamo, this lad is awesome. He makes every transaction of paperwork soooo easy. He follows up on all points reliably and efficiently which give you confidence your transaction is in the right hands. If thats not enough, he goes out of his way to deal with difficut estate agents, chase down sluggish solicitors and push things forward to ensure your deadlines are met. This is a one stop shop for the best mortgage products, life insurance sourcing and advice, property insurance, landlord insurance, the full works.ill never look anywhere else with this level of service. Have to say that I don't know much about mortgages as I'm going to become soon a first time buyer. When you're a first time buyer you rely on what people tells you and you are expecting guidance and knowledge from professionals in the sector but did not receive that from Mortgages 4 Plymouth. Although every email was replied instantly, the info wasn't precise. I advised to do an agreement in principle despite I was emphasising on the idea of looking for other products before closing any deal. During my \agreement in principle\ phone call, talked with the mortgage advisor Adam who did not deliver correct information (ex: agreement in principle affects negatively your credit score) and who was laughing at the middle of our conversation for good 5s. Unhappy with that situation, I have sent an email with feedback hoping to sort things out and to avoid this review but email was not longer replied instantly. Instead, I have received a phone call right away from the same mortgage advisor, Adam, which was only interested on removing my data straight away from the system while continue laughing at the situation. Not sure how experienced this company is but would recommend you to take positively criticism as is part of the business, and use it learn and grow. Would also train mortgage advisors as seems the one I had today did not know much what he was talking about. You could also try to sort an issue out rather than trying to get rid of it. Put 2 stars cause, although I was miss-told from the beginning, the initial call was very pleasant and the person was lovely. PS: over 55 minutes over the phone to obtain nothing out of it.
