There was a big chance of 5 stars here as the shop appears well stocked, meat counter is clean and quite appealing, some prices are hard to find though. I was going to be a new long term customer who spends fair bit of money. I am a customer they have lost at a first visit due to ignorance sadly. Never presume your customer does not understand what you're saying! I spoke English just to check how the staff are. On entry I was asked if I had a mask, fair question, I answered that I was exempt for health reason after which the man started bad mouthing me to the lady saying things such as \oh she should be showing documents to prove it....\ and so on and on. I nearly left the store but I thought I wont let it get to me, I didn't come all this way to come out with nothing. Also gave birth to a baby 4 day ago and have been tested for covid by the way. I have done my choice of shopping after which I came to the counter and one of the ladies asked if I wanted anything from the meat counter, I confirmed that I did. I wanted quite a lot actually, different types of sausages, I have asked if I could have a full pack of specific sausage.The lady got it, then she said to the man that they are out of date from tomorrow so the man told her to take them out of the packaging and move to regular bag so I don't see the date...hmmm...marvelous, does anyone agree? I have asked for some other sausages and then completed my shopping, I didn't grumble or let them know I that I understand and speak Polish perfectly. I just walked away with my shopping very disappointed. The 45 I have spent there is the only 45 I'll ever will spend and was going to spend a lot each time I'm in Plymouth. All I have to say, shame on you guys. Treat people how you'd like to be treated and never ever presume they don't understand what you are saying to avoid today's experience.
